Artist Lee Smith utilizes textural surfaces and rich, intense colors to portray a beast in vivid expression. Over a textured base of mediums and recycled paper, a white dog with great wings soars above a cityscape. Backlit by a carved night sky with a shimmering galaxy filled with meteors and gold metallic shooting stars. Below this guardian angel is a colorful landscape of houses, beings, and beasts.
